About Mignon van de Bunt

The beach and the sea have always been my greatest sources of inspiration. The sound of the waves gives me a sense of peace and space, while the colours of the beach and the surrounding nature inspire me endlessly. At the same time, I love the energy and vibrancy of city life.

My family shared that same passion, which is why we made a life-changing decision in 2018. We left our beautiful countryside home and moved to a charming 1930s house in The Hague, where we now enjoy the best of both worlds: living within walking distance of the beach while being close to the vibrant city centre.

These two worlds are reflected in my designs. I love creating interiors that combine calm, harmony and timeless materials with carefully chosen statement pieces, such as distinctive wallpaper, beautiful lighting or a unique rug. Those details give every interior its own character and make it truly personal.

I'm Mignon van de Bunt

From an early age, I have been fascinated by historic buildings, architecture and homes with a story to tell. Preserving original features and combining them with contemporary design is what creates timeless and distinctive interiors.

With more than 19 years of experience as an interior designer, I have built a passionate team of professionals who share the same vision and dedication.

Together, we love getting to know our clients and understanding how they live, what inspires them and what makes a house feel like home. We believe every interior should be a true reflection of the people who live there.

Get to know Mignon

  • Besides being an entrepreneur, I'm also a proud mother of three wonderful children.
  • Definitely team water – no coffee or herbal tea for me!
  • I love taking long walks with our huskies, especially along the beach.
  • You'll often find me walking barefoot whenever I can.
  • I truly enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others. That's why I founded Love Your Interior in 2015 and Build Your Interior Business in 2021, where I inspire and support aspiring and established interior professionals.

You may also recognise Mignon from features in leading interior magazines such as vtwonen, her appearances on the Dutch television programme Droomhuis Gezocht (RTL 4), and various other publications.

Over the years, she has also worked as an interior stylist for well-known brands including Histor, Karwei, Flexa, vtwonen and Siematic.

Natalie van Maaren

Natalie joined Mignon van de Bunt Interiordesign many years ago as an intern and has since grown into one of the key designers within our team. With her creative vision, she has a remarkable ability to see opportunities within a space that others often overlook. She effortlessly combines functionality, atmosphere and each client’s wishes into thoughtful, well-balanced designs.

Her eye for detail, practical approach and strong sense of style enable her to create interiors that are both inspiring and perfectly tailored to the people who live or work in them.

Ariana Amir Hosseini

Originally from Switzerland, Ariana graduated there as an Interior Architect before joining our team. She combines her strong design background with excellent organisational skills, making her an invaluable part of every project.

As our Project Manager, Ariana oversees the day-to-day coordination of our projects, monitors schedules and ensures that every stage runs smoothly. She is the key link between our clients, suppliers, contractors and other project partners, making sure everyone has the right information at the right time.

Lisa Bouma

Lisa is the youngest member of our team, but she has quickly become a valuable part of our day-to-day operations. She also started her journey with us as an intern and has since grown into a versatile team member, supporting both interior styling and content creation.

She contributes to a wide range of styling projects, helping to refine every interior down to the smallest detail and ensuring each space feels balanced and cohesive. With her fresh perspective and keen eye for detail, Lisa plays an important role in enhancing the overall quality and presentation of our projects.

Joshua is our Operations Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of our studio. He ensures that our processes run smoothly, allowing the team to focus on creating exceptional interiors for our clients.

With his structured and organised approach, Joshua oversees project planning, priorities and team coordination. He keeps track of every ongoing project, ensuring that everyone has the right information and support at the right time. His commitment to efficiency and organisation enables our designers to focus on what they do best: creating thoughtful, personalised and high-quality interior designs.

Our motto has always been: if we're going to do something, we want to do it right the first time. We knew what we liked, but we weren't sure how to bring everything together or whether our ideas would work in our living room.
